As a group we have a decision to make. This is what camera to use. The two possible options have both advantages and disadvantages, thus making our choice tougher.
The first camera is a Sony HDV,

| The camera has a ranges of features such as white balance and filters | Due to its size it is hard to transport |
| With HD capability this will give recordings a crisp image and the ability of being stretched with out loss of detail. | It is tough to use because of the mass of buttons and options and can easily be misused. |
The second camera is a Sony HandyCam.
| Advantages | Disadvantages |
| It has easily accessible tape hold even when attached to complex equipment. | It does not however have a manual focus meaning some shots would have to be changed |
| Simple button lay out means a easy operation | Unable to shoot in HD |
After consulting with the group we have come to the conclusion that the Song HDV is our best choice of camera to use for our music video
